I am 44 years old and had to have a complete hysterectomy. While being operated on, I did what my Dr. called “bled out”. It took 3 liters of blood to bring me back to life, and I am very grateful for that. It was the first time I ever had surgery, let alone a blood transfusion!.

When the Nurse took my staples out, one bled, and before she could turn back around from reaching for the gauze, she said “You must have gotten some good blood”, as it had already clotted! I give my blessings and thanks to whom ever gave blood that I was able to receive.
