Hello. My name is Xavi. A few months ago, I turned 17. I was happy that I could give my blood as a 17-year-old girl, so a few of my friends and I rode to a blood donating site. We each took our turns donating blood, and we were happy to have helped.
Later that month, I received a MySpace friend request from a 19 year old girl. She told me thank you. I was a bit confused, so I asked her to please specify the reason for a thank you.
She told me that I saved her life. She told me that she was in a terrible car accident and needed blood. After she underwent the surgery, she asked for the donor’s name. After many days of investigating, she found me.
Right now, we are good friends, and all from me going to donate my blood. I truly never thought I would save someone’s life, nor find a great friend!

You must have felted over whelmed. But if not for people like you many people would die. I almost bleed to death back in April of 2004 so I am grateful for people like you specially at your age for doing a great deed. My bleeding was coming from car accident that I had been in and caused a tumor (cancer) to brust). Had it not been for the accident I might not be here 3 years later. And of course I thanked God that there was the donated blood that I needed quite of lot of. Thank you dear for such a awesome gift. Debra
