In March of 2006, right after delivering my daughter, my uterus hemmoraged and the nurse said I was going to bleed to death if I didnt get a transfusion immediately. I was given 2 bags of blood and 1 bag of plasma. I am so grateful to all you blood donors out there for saving my life and so many others. Unfortunately I am not eligible to donate blood because I’m only 90 lbs, but if I could, I would do it all the time. Thankfully, my husband does it for me every chance he gets.
