Me and my family have been fortunate and blessed not to have any need for blood. I started giving blood at my place of employment several years ago. The feeling that it gives one to know that you have helped, and possibly saved, many lives with such donation is one, if not the, most rewarding feelings you can experience. It is satisfying to read that my donation can, and has, helped so many people live. I will continue to give and would encourage others to do the same.
